What kind of Lesson footage can I send?

Learn what kinds of lesson footage you can send to coaches as a parent or athlete.

Updated over 3 months ago

For Analysis and Full Remote Lessons, you may send coaches a wide variety of footage.

You can film your athlete in live competitions, during an in-person lesson with another coach, in your backyard, garage, or living room – you can film a Coachly lesson anywhere, anytime.

Lastly, there are two possible camera angles that you can send to be analyzed.

Side View

The first angle, filming from Side View, is mandatory for each lesson to be sent.

These videos will be taken by filming the open front of your athlete's body as they execute their motions.

Back View

The second, filming from Back View, is optional but still recommended.

Filming from the back means doing so from safely behind your athlete – slightly angled to the athlete’s open side – so your coach can see a fuller picture of your athlete's technique and outcomes.

Live Call

Live Call Lessons will be similarly diverse, because different athletes have access to different locations (fields, courts, training facilities, backyards, etc.) and different equipment from your sport.
