Tap on the Coaches whistle icon at the bottom left of most screens.
Scroll through instructors who specialize in the specific sport that you’ve selected in your Athlete Account.
If you would like to search for a given instructor by their name, tap the Search Coaches text field centered near the top of the Coaches screen. Then, type in the instructor’s name that you’re looking for.
If you would like to further filter the selection of professional instructors to your own personal preferences, tap the Filter icon within the Search Coaches text field at the farthest right on the Coaches screen. The filters screen allows you to filter your instructor results by the following:
Location
Distance from your location
Price
Country
Instruction Type
Lesson Type
Coach Type
Coach On-Demand Only
Once you’ve set up any filters you’d like to apply to your coach search, tap the APPLY button at the bottom center of the screen.
Tap on the instructor that you would like to learn more about.
Look over the Coach’s full profile, which includes:
The types of instruction they specialize in
Their Lesson Offers
Video clips or pictures of them competing or coaching
Their Experience
Their Education
Their personal Coaching Philosophy
And the Reviews and Ratings they’ve earned from previous clients.
Note: Simply tap on a given video or section to learn more about the instructor before making an informed decision for yourself or your athlete.
Tap the BOOK LESSON button.
On the Lesson Offers screen, select the Analysis option.
Tap the REQUEST LESSON button at the bottom center of your screen.
Under Your Footage, tap the red + Sign above the word Side. This is where footage of you or your athlete filmed from the side goes.
Now you have three options to choose from:
You can tap on the White Camera Icon on the bottom left to film your footage live right then and there.
You can select a clip from your Recents displayed as a shortcut to upload.
Or you can tap BROWSE FULL CAMERA ROLL to upload pre-filmed video footage from the side from your device's Camera Roll.
Note: As an example, baseball hitting videos can be a single live game at-bat, a single round of hitting at team practice, or a minute of soft toss or tee-work at a local batting cage or in your own backyard.
Optionally, under Your Footage, you can tap the red + Sign above the word Back. This is where footage of your athlete filmed from the back goes. You’ll again have three options:
You can tap on the White Camera Icon on the bottom left to film your footage live right then and there.

Or you can tap BROWSE FULL CAMERA ROLL to upload pre-filmed video footage from the side from your device's Camera Roll.
Also optionally, under Additional Info, you can type your athlete’s current status or future goals to share with your chosen coach.
Tap the REQUEST LESSON button at the bottom center of your screen.
You will receive live updates about the status of your lesson request under the Lessons clipboard icon within the Coachly app, and, depending on your personal settings, also via emails and push notifications on your device.
Note: If your coach were to decline the request or not respond within 48 hours, you’d not be charged a dime, and you’d be free to send a new booking request to any other coach within our marketplace.
