How to Decline an In-Person Lesson in the Coachly App

Learn how to decline an In-Person Lesson request as a coach.

  1. Tap the Lessons clipboard icon at the bottom left of most screens.

  2. Near the top of your screen you’ll see your most recent client requests outlined in red.

  3. Tap the Lesson Requested tab that has your potential client’s name on the left and the words In-Person on the right.

  4. Check out the athlete’s and parent’s information provided at the top of the Full Remote Lesson page.

  5. Under LESSON DETAILS, note how many miles your potential client is from your primary Training Site.

  6. Under LESSON DETAILS, check out the In-Person meetup Availability that your potential has shared.

  7. Under LESSON DETAILS, read any optional Athlete’s Notes your potential client may have provided you for additional context.

  8. Tap DECLINE to decline the In-Person Lesson request.

  9. Choose from one of Coachly declination templates to send:

    1. Apologies, I don't work with this age group.

    2. Sorry. I'm too busy to take on a new student.

    3. Sorry. I'm on vacation at this time.

Or, tap Custom Message to type out your own message to the client.
