How to Decline a Live Call Lesson in the Coachly App

Learn how to decline a Live Call Lesson request as a coach.

  1. Tap the Lessons clipboard icon at the bottom left of most screens.

  2. Near the top of your screen you’ll see your most recent client requests outlined in red.

  3. Tap the Lesson Requested tab that has your potential client’s name on the left and the words Live Call on the right.

  4. Check out the athlete’s and parent’s information provided at the top of the Full Remote Lesson page.

  5. Under LESSON DETAILS, read any optional Athlete’s Notes that your potential client may have provided you for additional context.

  6. Tap to select the Best Time for You to meetup for a Live Call Lesson out of the possible day(s) and time(s) that your potential client has sent you.

  7. Tap DECLINE to decline the Live Call Lesson request.

  8. Choose from one of Coachly declination templates to send:

    1. Apologies, I don't work with this age group.

    2. Sorry. I'm too busy to take on a new student.

    3. Sorry. I'm on vacation at this time.

Or, tap Custom Message to type out your own message to the client.
