Education Explained

Learn more about the education section of your profile as a coach.

Updated over 3 months ago

This Professional History section is where you will include any college degrees or professional certifications to help potential lesson clients choose you.

This may be particularly relevant for coaches offering Sport Performance Training private lessons.

Most parents expect their athlete's lifting, running speed, or mobility trainer to possess the requisite academic or certification background.

The same is true for coaches offering mental performance training.

But any other professional certifications specific to your sport might also signal to potential lesson clients looking for any sort of instruction type how seriously a given coach takes their own professional development.

In sharing each educational experience, you’ll be able to include:

  • Name of Institution or Organization (e.g. ASU or OnBaseU)

  • Start Date

  • End Date

  • Context (e.g. Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified. USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach.)
