Intro to Your Private Lessons

A brief overview of private lessons for coaches.

Updated over 3 months ago

Coachly helps coaches conduct sports lessons with athletes from all around the world. We support dozens of sports across 46 countries.

The Lessons icon, located at the bottom left of most screens, is where coaches can see and manage the entire life cycle of each private lesson.

Every client interaction in the Coachly app starts with a specific lesson request, whether in-person or online.

You, as the coach, must first decide if that request makes enough sense for you to accept it.

But don’t worry, Coachly gives you every bit of information about the client you’d want to make an informed decision.

You can, of course, decline any request that isn’t a good fit with our ready-made declination templates or type out a custom message on your own, to let the client down easily.

The next steps in an accepted lesson request’s life cycle depend on what type of lesson it is – Analysis, Full Remote, Live Call, In-Person, Chat Subscription.

But all lessons are officially completed the same way: you get paid into your bank account and receive that client’s review or rating of your instructional services.

Coachly keeps you informed every step of the way in the Lessons section of the app. And we send timely push notifications and emails (if you have them enabled) to help you stay on top of lessons and manage clients on auto-pilot.

Again, the Lessons section of the app is where you track your client details and deadlines for all pending lesson interactions.

This same Lessons section also houses your coaching Library, where you can access and review all previously completed lessons with your clients.
